Blood Has A Voice

A week ago, I was sitting and pondering the increase of evil I see and hear of on a daily basis. One cannot go about their day without a care when evil and violence escalate. More people are killed by ICE. Two were not even intended targets of an investigation but were innocent victims of traffic stops. And the news just goes on and who is being brought to justice for this? I asked the Lord about this and He spoke to me at 6:40 PM saying, ‘It is a mindset of murder.”

The Lord confronted Cain in Genesis 4 after he had killed his brother and said, “The blood cries out to Me from the ground.” The blood has a voice. Do you think that voice has gone silent? I feel it cries out with an even louder plea to the Lord as it is joined with the voices of so many innocents in this country. Try to envision the sound of so many Native Americans, Blacks, Asians, and immigrants that were used up, killed and discarded in this country. Try to ignore the voices of so many today being used as political fodder in the attempt to whiten our country. If you turn your eye from what is going on or block your ears, then that blood splashes onto you. And that stain will be visible when you stand before Him.

Jesus said in Matthew 15 that out of the heart proceed evil thoughts and murders. Jesus also says in Matthew 5 that whoever murders will be in danger of judgement but adds that our anger and wrong attitudes toward our fellow man can also cause us to be in danger of judgement. So how many can sit idly by while evil and murder of our fellow man is done on a daily basis? Can we just set aside the fact that so many immigrants are now in our version of concentration camps and are dying from lack of proper food, medicine, and are being physically mistreated? Can we ignore the indiscriminate killings in a war in Iran that feeds the ego of a deranged psychopath looking to deflect from his sagging poll numbers and from investigations into his grifting and covering up for pedophiles. If so then we must truly examine our hearts. These voices are also before the Lord.

From the highest peaks of our government to the pews of so many churches claiming to speak for our Lord, we see and hear that which has no part in Him and will be judged. The Apostle John warned in 1 John 3:15, “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” John also warned that if you say you love God but hate your brother than you are a liar. If we see the evil being done and blood being shed and do not physically and spiritually recoil, then we are in need of prayer and deliverance. If we cannot hear the voice of the shed blood of the innocents then we serve a god of our own making.

Jeremiah warns us in chapter 22:17, “Your eyes and your heart are for nothing but your covetousness and for shedding innocent blood. And for practicing oppression and violence.” How much more of this can we watch and listen to daily without demanding it stop! Our voices being silent in the midst of this evil will be judged just as those committing the actual acts. Being silent is being complicit. I pray we take a stand for righteousness. This innocent blood cries out even louder. Blessings.
